Programmes built on self-reporting measure enthusiasm, not adherence
An app-only companion only knows what the patient tells it: a tap for “taken”, or silence. MediSync records the physical event. The lid opens, the box timestamps it and syncs it, and the reminder stops. Nothing to tap, nothing to remember, nothing to fill in later.

From a conversation to devices in patients’ hands
MediSync isn’t a certified medical device and doesn’t dispense or dose. That is a limitation for some programmes and the whole point for others: nothing to validate, nothing to install, and a pilot that can start with a handful of boxes.

Adherence per patient and per medication accrues in the account. For programme reporting we arrange an export under a data-processing agreement, covering only patients who opted in.
A routine that carries itself
Open the app and today is already counted: how much of it has been taken, how long the run is, and a week of dots under each medication so a slip is obvious at a glance. Reminders arrive on the lock screen and the wrist, with Taken and Snooze right on the notification, and the box lights up and chirps when a dose is due.

A patient shares with a programme exactly the way they’d share with a son or daughter: they send an invite, the coordinator taps it, and from then on they see the medications and whether today went well, and get a quiet alert when a dose is actually missed. They can look and they can nudge; they can’t change the schedule or the history.

MediSync was built for people who don’t want to be managed, and the B2B offer keeps that promise. A programme sees only what its own patients chose to share with it, for as long as they choose to share it.

Does it work with blister packs and bottles?
Yes — that’s the design. The medication stays in whatever the pharmacy dispensed and goes into the box as it is. MediSync tracks the lid, not the pill, so there is no repackaging, no tray to fill and no re-labelling to worry about. Three sizes cover most oral regimens; we’ll help you match one to your packs.
What does a patient need?
An iPhone or Android phone with Bluetooth, and the free MediSync app. Wi-Fi is optional: with it the box syncs on its own; with Bluetooth alone it syncs whenever the phone is nearby, and the reminders on the box work either way.
Who can see a patient’s data?
The patient, and anyone they invite — a family member, a nurse, a programme coordinator. Invited people see the medications, the day’s status and missed doses, and can send a reminder. They can’t edit anything, and the patient can remove them in a tap. NoordWell doesn’t sell data and doesn’t pass it to anyone outside the programme a patient joined.
Is MediSync a medical device?
No. It reminds and records; it doesn’t dispense, meter or make clinical decisions, and it isn’t certified as a medical device. For a lot of programmes that is the attraction — a pilot can start with a few boxes and no validation project. If your protocol needs a validated eSource or dispensing system, MediSync isn’t it, and we’ll say so.
Can we brand the device?
Today it comes in black or white with the MediSync mark on the lid. For volume orders, ask us about custom lid text and colours — the boxes are made in Amsterdam, so it’s a conversation rather than a re-tooling.
What does it cost, and how fast can we start?
At retail a device is €120 to €160 depending on size, and the app is included for good — there is no per-patient or per-month software fee. Volume pricing and pilot kits are quoted per programme. Lead time depends on quantity; a small pilot can usually ship from stock.
Which countries and languages?
The apps and every reminder come in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch. Devices ship from Amsterdam; tell us your market and we’ll confirm logistics and any local requirements.
